  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 cup coconut

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugar
Add additional ingredients and mix well
Stir in coconut
Spread in 9"x13" pan
Cook 350 degrees for 25 minutes
