  • 1 bag (13 oz.) dry cheese tortellini (sold in pasta aisle, Barilla) (*8 oz. bag)
  • 1-1/2 cups cubed or diced ham (*4 oz. ham OR diced, heated pancetta)
  • 2-1/2 cups water (*2 cups water)
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine (*2 Tbsp. butter or margarine)
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder (*same)
  • ¼ ground black pepper (*same)
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg (*same)
  • DAIRY:
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese (*same)
  • ¾ whole milk (*1/2 cup)
  • 4 oz. cream cheese (*same)
  • Salt to taste

Step 1

Add all tortellini ingredients to pressure cooker, securely lock on lid, set the cooker to high and cook for 4 minutes.

Perform a quick release to release the cooker’s pressure. Safely remove lid and slowly stir in the dairy ingredients until melted and creamy. Salt to taste and serve immediately.
