Ingredients

  • Spice Glaze:
  • 4 cups hickory wood chips or mesquite wood chips
  • 2 turkey boneless breast halves
  • 1 recipe five spice glaze
  • 1 recipe honey mustard glaze
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 tablespoons hoison sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Honey Mustard Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire suce

Preparation

Step 1

At least one hour before cooking, soak wood chips in enough water to cover. Drain wood chips before using. In covered grill, stack coals in a pyramid or mound and ignite. Arrange coals around a drip pan. Place 1 cup drained wood chips atop preheated coals. Rinse turkey breasts and thoroughly pat dry with paper towels. Place turkey breasts side by side on grill rack directly over drip pan. Grill 1-1/2-2 hours. Brush one half with five spice glaze and other half with honey mustard glaze several times during last 15 minutes.

Five Spice Glaze:

Stir together all ingredients in order given.

Honey Mustard Glaze:

In small bowl stir together, honey, mustard, margarine and hite wine and Worcestershire sauce.
