Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup hot water or coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup potato starch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

Dissolve the cocoa into hot water. Add the vanilla. Set aside.

In the mixer, cream together the oil and sugar. Add the eggs and mix them in. Mix in the cocoa mixture alternately with the dry ingredients. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 35-45 minutes.
