Ingredients
- Cake:
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 15 - 20 oz crushed pineapple undrained
- dash salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Frosting:
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut and chopped nuts

Step 1
Cake: Combine all ingredients. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Frosting: 5 minutes before removing cake from oven, mix margarine, sugar, milk and vanilla in a pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let boil 3-5 minutes. Add coconut and nuts. Pour over cake as soon as removed from oven.
