- 1 cup chopped carrot
- 1 cup celery
- 1 cup onion
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cans (19 ounces) ready-to-serve Progresso tomato basil soup
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2/3 cup uncooked orzo

Preparation
Step 1
• Sauté carrot, onion and celery with basil, oregano in thyme in oil for 8-10 minutes or until crisp tender.
• In large sauce pan (or crock pot), put soup and broth. Add sauted vegetables. Bring to a boil.
• Stir in orzo. Reduce heat to simmer and STIR uncovered 10-12 minutes or until orzo and veggies are tender.
• NOTE: Can use crock pot and cook until orzo and veggies are tender.
