Ingredients

5 Tablespoons butter
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
CHEESECAKE LAYER
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (6 ounces) chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and chocolate. Stir until smooth. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add the flour and baking powder until blended. Spread into greased 8 inch pan.

For the cheesecake layer: Beat in cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Spoon over brownie layer. Cut through batter with a knife to swirl. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350.
