Ingredients
- 1 can jellied cranberry sauce
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup ginger ale
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon citric acid
- 1 to 2 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 small onion -- grated
- Salt and pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot, over low to medium heat, combine cranberry sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, lemon juice, ginger ale and wine. Heat to just simmer.
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine beef, bread crumbs, onion and seasonings. Form into meatballs and drop into sauce.
Simmer for one hour. Add citric acid, as per taste.
