Angel Food Cake Frosting

A recipe from my Grandma. It was always our favorite frosting for angel food cake for our birthdays.

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 squares of unsweeten chocolate
• 3 Tbs hot water
• 1/3 cup butter or margarine
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Melt chocolate and water together and stir until smooth. Cream butter and powdered sugar until well beaten. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Add chocolate mix and combine well.

(Use beaters to cream. Grandma did it by hand.)
