Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 3 Tablespoons oil
  • 1 1/2 cups garbanzo beans
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 box couscous -- cooked

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, brown the onions, carrots, celery and mushrooms in oil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 40 minutes.

Serve with couscous.
