Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla
  • 7 cups oats
  • 1 cup nuts, almonds, walnuts, pecans - whatever you like
  • 2 cups raisins

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat sugar and water in microwave to melt. Add vanilla.

2. Combine oats and nuts. Toss with sugar syrup.

3. Place on parchment lined baking sheets, bake at 275, stirring often, 50-60 mins. Toss with raisins.

Notes: Easy and healthy. The granola recipe I always go back to. Very easily over-cooked.
