Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 cups milk; scalded
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- nutmeg

Step 1
Beat eggs slightly; add sugar and salt. Pour heated milk; a little at a time; into egg mixture. Add vanilla. Pour into a 9" pie crust unbaked. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes; then 325 degrees for 40 minutes.
