Strawberry Brownie Layer Cake

Ingredients

• BROWNIE LAYER
• 1 box chocolate fudge brownie mix
• 1/2 cup oil
• 1/4 cup water
• 3 eggs
• STRAWBERRY CAKE LAYER
• 1 box strawberry cake mix
• 3/4 cup water
• 1/3 cup oil
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 cup diced strawberries

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Spray three 9" round pans with cooking spray.

In a medium bowl mix all the brownie ingredients together. Spread about 1 cup of batter into each of three pans.

In another bowl, mix all strawberry cake ingredients together until blended. Fold in strawberries. Pour and spread about 1 1/3 cups mixture evenly over brownie batter in each pan.

Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes and invert. Cool completely 1 hour.

Use either cream cheese frosting or whipped topping to fill the cake. Place one cake layer brownie side own, on a serving plate. Spread half the filling to within 1/4 inch

of the edge. Repeat with second layer and third layers.
