Ingredients

  • 1 * 1 cut up chicken or 3-4 lb chicken pieces (cut up)
  • 1/2 * 1/2 cup flour
  • * salt & pepper to season flour
  • 2 * 2 cups fresh, sliced mushrooms
  • 1 * 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 * 1/2 can chicken broth
  • 1/2 * 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 * 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 * 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 * 1/2 tsp salt & pepper
  • 4 * 4 carrots (large), peeled and sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Shake chicken in flour with salt/pepper.
Place chicken on baking sheet, bake at 400 F for 30 minutes.

While baking chicken, slice and fry mushrooms.

Combine all ingredients in a large, oven-proof casserole dish. Add chicken and mushrooms.

Reduce oven temperature to 350 F.

Bake for 1 hour (uncovered).

Serve with rice.
