Ingredients
- 1 large minced shallot
- 2 t wine vinegar
- 1 1 1/2lb sirloin steak
- 3 T olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- 8 1/2 " slices country bread
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- 2 ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 bunch arugula
- 4 slices prosciutto

Preparation
Step 1
1. Light grill. In small bowl, combine shallot & vinegar. Lightly rub steak with olive oil, sprinkle generously with salt & pepper. Let stand 10 min.
2. Grill steak 12-13 min for med. rare. transfer to cutting board & let stand 5 min. before cutting. Thinly slice meat.
3. Brush bread on both sides with olive oil & grill til golden on both sides. Rub one side of each with garlic. Arrange tomatoes on bread & season with salt & pepper. Season with shallot vinegar. Top with arugula, steak & prosciutto; cut in half and serve.
