  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) Contadina® Tomato Puree
  • 1 can (15 oz.) Contadina® Tomato Sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) Contadina Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced shallots or onion
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • (Optional) chopped fresh basil
  • (optional) fresh parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook shallots until softened, 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients, except basil.
