  • 1 Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Pie Crust (2 if using second for mini cookie garnish), softened as directed on box
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or other nuts (optional)
  • Sweetened whipped cream or ice cream (optional)
  • Salted caramel sauce (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325ºF.

Roll the dough out and press into greased pie plate. Beat eggs in large mixing bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in the butter and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour batter into the prepared pie shell.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with ice cream and drizzle of salted caramel sauce, if desired.
