Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup solid shortening
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tst baking soda
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 14 tsp allspice
- 2 tbs water
- 3 1/4 cup flour

Preparation
Step 1
1 blend sugar and shortening
2 add molasses, salt, baking soda, ginger nutmeg and allspice
3 stir in water and flour
4 mix well and chill in refrigerator before rolling out
5 after chilled rll out to about 1/4" thick
6 cut pieces as planned
7 bake on ungreased cokkie sheet at 50 degrees for 15-20 minutes
