Ingredients
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate -- coarsely chopped
- 1 Tablespoon liqueur -- optional

Preparation
Step 1
Place cream in small saucepan over medium heat; bring to boil. Place the chocolate in a large mixing bowl. Pour the cream over the chocolate and stir with wooden spoon until the chocolate is melted. Stir in liqueur if using.
To use as a glaze, let it stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. To use a frosting, let it stand for 30 at room temperature or 10 minutes chilled until is has thickened enough to spread.
