Ingredients
- ¼ c. shortening
- ½ c. brown sugar
- ¼ c. molasses
- 2 eggs (unbeaten)
- 1 c. milk
- ½ c. raisins
- 1 c. flour
- 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ¾ tsp. salt
- 1 ½ c. Bran

Step 1
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add molasses and eggs and beat together well. Add milk and then the Bran. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Add raisins, if desired, mixing well. Place in greased muffin tins. Bake 400˚ oven for l5 - 20 min. Makes 15 - 18 large muffins and 22 - 24 medium muffins.
