Ingredients
- 1/2 c. honey
- 2 c. nuts, ground
- 2 eggs,separated
- 1/2 c. wheat germ
- 1 c. coconut shreds
- additional coconut shreds for rolling
- 1 c. pitted,chopped dates

Step 1
Blend honey and egg yolks. Add coconut,dates,nuts,wheat germ. Blend thoroughly. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Dough should be stiff, if too thick, add milk. If too thin, add more wheat germ. Roll into ball - coat with coconut shreds. Flatten each cookie and arrange on oiled cookie sheet. Bake 325 deg. until lightly browned, (about 15-20 minutes.) Do not remove from cookie sheet until completely cool.
