Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1/4 c. flour,unsifted all-purpose
  • 1/8 about 1/8 c. dry Dream Whip, unwhipped
  • 2/3-3/4 c. milk (lesser amount in hot months, other for remainder of year)
  • 2 tsp. flavoring
  • 2 lb. unsifted powdered sugar

Step 1

Blend together Crisco, DRY Dream Whip, and flavoring. Beat mixture until stiff and fluffy like whipped cream. Then add half the flour,sugar and milk to fluffy mixture. Blend well - then add remaining ingredients. Beat well.
This icing is very good and keeps very well on the cake.
