- 2- 3 in long cinnamon sticks
- 3 whole cloves
- 2 bottles (750 ml each) Red Dry Wine
- 3 medium tart apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice

Step 1
Place cinnamon stickes qand cloves on a double thickeness cheesecloth; bring up corners of cloth and tie with a string to form a bag.
in a 3 qt slow cooker, combine the wine, apples, sugar and lemon juice. add spice bag.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the wine is heated throught. Discard the spice bag. Serve warm.
