Dad's Vanilla Ice Cream

My dad's quick and easy recipe for the old fashioned ice cream maker.

Ingredients

• 4 eggs
• 2 1/2 cups sugar
• 7 cups whole milk
• 3 cups whipping cream
• 2 1/2 Tbsp vanilla
• 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs till light. Add sugar gradually beating until thick. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into 5 qt ice cream maker.
