Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 cup cornflake or bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • Salt -- to taste pepper, paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons orange juice
  • 1/4 cup ketchup or chili sauce
  • VARIATION
  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup wheat germ -- optional
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • Salt -- to taste pepper, garlic powder, paprika, basil

Step 1

Cut chicken into strips about 1" wide. In a plastic bag, combine crumbs, sesame seeds and seasonings. In a bowl, blend honey, orange juice and ketchup. Dip chicken in honey mixture and drop a few pieces at a time into crumb mixture. Shake to coat well and arrange in a single layer on a sprayed foil-lined baking sheet.

Preheat oven to 400. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes. Turn over and bake 7 to 9 minutes longer until crisp and golden. Use any of the following for dipping sauce: - honey, chili sauce, ketchup, plum sauce or cherry sauce.
