Cake Batter Cupcakes

Ingredients

• 1 recipe yellow cupcakes
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 8 oumces cream cheese
• 1 Tablespoon milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/4 to 1/3 cup dry yellow cake mix
• 3 to 4 cups confectioners sugar
• Sprinkles

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare yellow cupcakes, adding in about 1/4 cup sprinkles to the batter. Bake as directed.

To make the frosting: Beat shortening and cream cheese until smooth. Add milk and vanilla. Add cake mix and beat again. Slowly add confectioners sugar until you reach the desired consistency. Pipe onto cooled cupcakes and top with sprinkles.
