Ingredients
- Hacho Miso Sauce:
- 4 cups reserved rice rinsing water
- 1 lb daikon, peeled and sliced into 1 inch rounds
- Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
- Shiso, thinly sliced for garnish

- 4 tbsp miso
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake

Preparation
Step 1
Whisk together ingredients to make hacho miso and set aside.
Bring the reserved rice rinsing water to a boil and add daikon rounds. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 30 minutes. Drain and rinse.
Spread a thick layer of hacho miso over each round.
Garnish with sesame seeds and shiso
