  • 1 1 1 bottle beer
  • 10 10 10 ounces [284 mL] undiluted mushroom soup
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup [125 mL] barbecue sauce
  • 2 to 3 2 to 3 to 1 1/2 to 1 1/2 kg] pork shoulder

Step 1

1. In bowl or slow cooker, whisk beer with soup and barbecue sauce.
2. Mixture will be lumpy.
3. Remove string from pork and trim off excess fat.
4. Place pork in beer mixture.
5. Cover and cook until pork is tender, 4 to 5 hours on high or 6 to 8 hours on low.

Excellent with mashed potatoes and broccoli or carrots.
Leftovers will keep well, cover and refrigerate it up to four days or freeze up to two months.
