Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb raw minced Pork
  • 1/2 lb raw minced Beef
  • 1 small Onion, minced
  • 1 small Garlic Clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Savory
  • 1/4 tsp Celery Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Cloves
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients into a large pot and bring to a boil. Cook uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mixture should be damp, not watery. Cool mixture and place in uncooked pie shell. Prick top crust to allow steam to escape. Bake @ 425 F for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F and cook for 45 minutes.

Note - Freeze uncooked and don't prick the top until it is out of the freezer.

If mixture is too water add a bit of bread crumbs (maybe 1/2 cup - press down and get most of the water out)
