Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 2 1/4 cups of flour
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of salt
- 3/4 unsalted butter cut into pieces
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 tbs. half and half
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups of brown sugar
- 5 tbs. light corn syrup
- 1/3 cup of heavy cream or can use half and half

Preparation
Step 1
Place flour, sugar and salt in a food processor and mix well.
Add unsalted butter pieces and egg yolkss. Mix until coarse. Add the half and half and vanilla. Mix well until mixture forms a ball.
Make into a disk and put in freezer for 20 minutes or into the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Roll out into circle between wax paper until 1/4 to 1/2" thick. Bake in greased tort pan at 375 degrees or 15 minutes with pie weights in it. Then remove weights and bake another 10 minutes and then let cool.
Fill whell with 4 cups of unsalted cashews, hazel nuts, macadamia and pecans.
Sauce:
Mix all ingredients together and heat until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a hard boil. Pour slowly over nuts in the shell and bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
