Ingredients
- 2 tsp. canola oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. beef flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/8 tsp. 5 spice powder
- 1 med. red pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 med. green pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 sm. onion thinly sliced
- 2 Tpsp. brwon sugar
- 1 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Cooked rice

Step 1
1. In 12" skillet, heat oil on med-high until hot. Sprinkle steak with 5-spice powder and salt. add to skillet. cook 3 min or until just browned, stirring occasionally. With slotted spoon, transfer to a med. bowl.
2. To skillet, add peppers, onion, 2 Tbsp. water, and pinch of salt. Cover and cook 5 min. or until slightly softened, stirring occasionall.
3. In small bowl, whick together brown sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch, 3 Tbsp. water and 1/4 tsp. black pepper, until smooth. Add to skillet, heat to simmering. simmer 1 min or until thickened. Add beef and any accumulated juices to skillet. Cook 1 min. or until beef is heated through. Serve w/ rice.
