Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 3 lbs ground beef (chuck or better grade)
  • 12-13 oz can evaporated milk
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oatmeal (do not sub)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 tap salt
  • 1/2 tap pepper
  • 2 tap chili powder
  • 2 cups catsup
  • 2 TBS liquid smoke
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 tap garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix all meatball ingredients in a large bowl. Oven at 350 degrees
2. Roll into 2 inch balls, and place in baking pan
3. Stir sauce ingredients together and pour 1/2 sauce over meatballs and bake for one hour.
4. Transfer to crock pot, add remaining sauce, turn crock pot to low to keep warm until serving
