  • 1 lb. frankfurters
  • 4 c. flour
  • 5 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 3/4 Tbsp. shortening
  • 2 c. milk, approx.

Step 1

Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in shortening. Add milk to make a soft dough. Roll to 3/4 in. thickness. Cut in squares. Place a frank in each square, roll and fasten by pinching dough together. Place in greased pan and bake in 400° oven until brown about 30 minutes.
