Ingredients

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Combine:
  • 2 pounds ground beef round
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 1/3 cup catsup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons minced onion or 2 tablespoons dried onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • Form into meatballs 1 inch in diameter. Arrange in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Combine in a medium saucepan:
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 16 ounces jellied cranberry sauce (1 1/2 cups)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • One 12-ounce bottle chili sauce
