Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 1/4 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 package (8 ounces) sliced mushrooms
  • 2 packets Swanson® Flavor Boost™ Sweet Onion & Burgundy Wine
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leaves

1 . Stir the flour and black pepper on a plate.  Coat the chicken with the flour mixture.

2 . Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.  Add the chicken and cook for 15 minutes or until well browned on both sides and cooked through.  Remove the chicken from the skillet, cover and keep warm.

3 . Reduce the heat to medium.  Heat the remaining oil in the skillet.  Add the mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4 . Stir the flavor blend and water in the skillet and heat to a boil.  Spoon the mushroom mixture over the chicken.  Sprinkle with the thyme.
