Ingredients
- Put in each jar:
- 6-7 unpeeled pickling cucumbers, sliced lengthwise into fourths
- 3 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups white vinegar
- 1/4 cup canning salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 of a small onion, sliced
- 1/2 Tbsp. dill weed
- 1/2 Tbsp. pickling spice
- 1/4 tea. red pepper flakes

Step 1
Place water, vinegar, salt and sugar in stainless steel pan and bring to a boil.
In bottom of each jar add garlic, dill weed, pickling spice and red pepper flakes. Pack each jar with cucumber slices and onion slices.
Pour boiling syrup over to cover.
Cover and let stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Refrigerate. Will keep for months.
