Ingredients
- 4 firm, large tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 medium onion, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped fine
- juice of 1 lime
- pinch or 2 of sugar
- salt to taste
- corn chips

Preparation
Step 1
Grate tomatoes on largest holes of a had grater. Use a flat had grater if you have it. Do not use metal. If the tomato sauce looks too watery, strain a bit out.
Add the rest of the ingredients, except for the corn chips; refrigerate until serving time.
Tast just before serving, adding salt and lime if needed. Serve with corn chips.
