MACARONI AND CHEESE

Ingredients
- For each cup:
- 2 C. Elbow Macaroni
- 2 T. Diced Onion (I personally use 1/2 medium onion)
- 3 C. Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 4-6 slices crumbled bacon (or as much as you want – you can’t have too much!)
- 2 C. Thin White Sauce (see below)
- 1 T. Butter or Margarine
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Thin Sauce
- 1 T. Butter or Margarine
- 1/2 - 1 T. Flour
- 1 C. Milk
- Salt & Pepper to taste

Step 1
Heat oven to 375°F. Cook macaroni. Fry bacon (crispy), drain and crumble. Place half the cooked macaroni in an ungreased 2-qt casserole dish. Sprinkle with half the onion, salt, pepper, cheese and bacon. Repeat. Poor white sauce over casserole. Dot with butter. Cover. Bake 30 minutes. Uncover. Bake 15 minutes longer.
