Peanut Blossom Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 3/4 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup margarine, softened
• 1/3 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Chocolate candy kisses

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine flour, soda, and salt; set aside.

Cream butter and peanut butter together. Gradually add in sugar and brown sugar. Add in egg and vanilla, beat well.

Blend in dry ingredients gradually, mixing thoroughly.

Shape dough into balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on cookie sheets and bake for 8 minutes.

Remove from oven and press chocolate candy kiss in centers of cookies. Return to oven and bake 2 minutes longer.
