Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup grated onion
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley or (4 tsp. chopped fresh)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared dry mustard
  • 1/3 cup ketchup or tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced onion

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a large bowl, mix together beef, grated onion, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper until well combined. Form into a loaf, about 9 x 5-inches and transfer to Perfect Meatloaf™ Pan.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard and ketchup. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add onions, toss to coat and pour over meatloaf.
Pick up Perfect Meatloaf™ Pan by the sides, transfer to oven and bake 1 hour.
Remove from oven by sides of pan to a cooling rack. Grip insert by handles and lift meatloaf from pan. Transfer to cutting board or platter and rest 10 minutes before serving
