Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon double strength vanilla extract

Step 1
1 Combine the water and the sugar in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
2 Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves. Keep boiling until syrup is reduced to about 1 cup.
3 Remove from heat and whisk in the cinnamon, cream, and vanilla.
4 Keep warm until served, can be refrigerated for up to about 2 weeks. Rewarm before serving.
