Ingredients
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 cup egg whites
- 3 tbsp grated orange rind
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 2 1/4 cups sifted cake flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar

Step 1
Combine dry ingredients.
Make a well in the centre and add egg yolks, oil, orange rind and juice and beat well.
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar.
Fold egg whites into beaten mixture.
Bake at 325 F for 55 minutes, then another 10-15 minutes at 350 F
