  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 cup flour

Direction:

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl mix the butter and sugar together until creamy and smooth. Slowly add the flour until the dough becomes will mixed and almost crumbly. Once you have a very stiff and dry dought, place in the refrigerator for 30 mins.

lighly flour a board and retrieve the dough. You can either place in a square baking pan and cut into squares or press the dough out on the floured surface with your hands and cut into shapes using small cookie cutters.

Place the dough into the oven and bake for about 9 mins until cookies just start to turn golden on bottom. Don't over bake them. Remove and place on wire cooling rack.
