Ingredients
- 1 C yellow cornmeal
- 1 C flour
- 1 T baking powder
- 1/2 C granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 C whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 stick of butter, melted
- 1/4 C honey

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
In another bowl, whisk the milk, eggs, butter and honey. Add to dry mixture and stir just until mixed.
Divide the batter into paper cup lined muffin tin. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden , but not too dark around edges.
For loaf bread instead of muffins, just put in a greased 8 x8 baking dish and cook for about 20 minutes, checking it then to see if the middle springs back when touched and that it is turning a slight golden color.
