Ingredients
- BREAD:
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/4 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 stick softened butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 t. vanilla
- 3/4 cup milk
- PECAN MIXTURE:
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 stick butter, softened
- 1 T flour
- 1 T cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- GLAZE:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 T milk

Step 1
Whisk flour, baking powder and salt. Beat butter and sugar with a mixture until fluffy; beat in eggs and vanilla, then milk. Beat in the dry ingredients. Pour half the batter into the pan.
Mix brown sugar, pecans, butter, flour, cinnamon and salt. Pour on top of batter, then top with remaining bread batter.
Bake at 350° for 55-65 minutes.
Whisk powdered sugar and 2 T milk for the glaze; drizzle over the warm bread.
