Ingredients
- 2 cups crunchy peanut butter
- 2 cups lard or bacon fat
- 4 cups 'quick cook' oats
- 4 cups cornmeal
- 2 cups white flour
- 2/3 cup white sugar

Step 1
Melt the lard & peanut butter in pot over low heat or in microwave. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Spoon this mixture into square freezer containers, packing firmly to about 1-1/2 inches thick. Cover with container lid. Store it in the freezer. It will not melt in summer or warm weather. A few raisins or sunflower seeds may be added.
NOTE: If mixture is not fairly stiff in consistency, add a small amount of meal or oats. This recipe will make 6 or 7 suet cakes.
