Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 9 inch baked pie shell
  • 1 cup raisins (soaked and drained)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp cloves
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water drained off raisins
  • Meringue:
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 5 tbsp sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Add all of the ingredients for filling to a saucepan and cook to consistency, then add to pie shell top with meringue and bake for 10 -15 minutes.

For Meringue: Beat all ingredients together until peaks form.
