Ingredients
- 1 28-ounce package frozen loose-pack diced hash brown potatoes with onion and peppers, thawed
- 1 10 3/4-ounce can condensed cream of chicken with herbs soup
- 1 cup finely shredded smoked Gouda cheese (4 ounces)
- 1 cup finely shredded provolone cheese (4 ounces)
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup finely chopped leek or thinly sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped prosciutto or 4 slices bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons snipped fresh chives

Step 1
In a 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker combine thawed potatoes, soup, cheeses, milk, leek or green onions, prosciutto (if using), and pepper.
Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 5 to 6 hours. Gently stir in chives and bacon, if using, before serving.
