Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cups finely chopped nuts
  • 3/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 1-8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 large container whipped topping, divided
  • 2 boxes (any flavor) instant pudding mix ( I usually use pistachio but butterscotch is also very good)
  • 2 1/2 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, nuts, and margarine and pat into lightly greased 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not let top get brown.

Blend softened cream cheese, confectioners sugar, and 1 cup of whipped topping together. Spread over cooled crust.

Prepare 2 boxes pudding mix with milk. Spread over cream cheese layer.

Spread remainder of large container of whipped topping for final layer.

Store in refrigerator until ready to serve and also for storage.
