  • 4 15-ounce cans Great Northern beans, red or white kidney
  • beans, black beans, and/or butter beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 3/4 cup diced cooked ham or Canadian-style bacon
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

In a 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker combine all ingredients.
Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 5 to 6 hours or on high-heat setting for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
